St. Matthew’s Anglican Church is part of the Ilfracombe Team Ministry together with the churches of St. Sabinus’ Woolacombe and St. Mary’s Mortehoe.
The parish of Lee is the smallest of the three. The church is situated in Lee but covers those living in Lincombe (up the hill) and Lee the lower part which winds down to the sea at Lee Bay, as well as outlying farms. The church history dates from 1833 and we have many events throughout the year.
We are open daily from Easter to October for quiet meditation and prayer and we welcome you all to the church whether you are local or a visitor
